Food grant program identified for a food manufacturer
For a major food manufacturer with whom TSI had been assisting with SR&ED, TSI found a unique funding program that provided money for food suppliers to invest in innovative new uses for Ontario wheat. Known as the Ontario Wheat Innovation Support Fund, only the top 3 applicants receive funding. Within 2 weeks, TSI had prepared an application that won the award and netted the client $30K in cash funding to support their initiative.
TSI identifies incremental tax credit program for a software development firm
For one of TSI’s software and multimedia development clients, TSI strategized with the client and looked for opportunities in other government and private incentive programs. TSI successfully identified opportunities to utilize the the Ontario Interactive Digital Media Tax Credit (OIDMTC program), resulting in a refund for the client almost equivalent in value to their SR&ED claim.
