Innovacorp is calling on entrepreneurs to submit their initiative to the Nova Scotia Clean Tech Open, which is designed to find and fund high-potential clean technology start-up companies. The contest is open to start-up businesses focused on a new knowledge-based product and/or service in the clean technology industry where the applicant is a 51% or more majority owner and has established a business in Nova Scotia.
The winner of the competition will receive $100,000 in cash, $200,000 negotiable seed investment, mentoring, and in-kind business building services, including a 1-year rent-free space at the Innovacorp Enterprise Centre in Halifax.
